Northern leopard frog translocation in Alberta : a review

The northern leopard frog was listed as Threatened in Alberta in 2004. Recovery plans from 2005–2015 recommended reintroduction based on earlier translocation efforts near Magrath and central Alberta. A translocation program began in 2006 to restore frogs to vacant sites within their range. This report reviews the program's progress and outcomes over 15 years, including assessments of translocation sites from 2007–2010, 2013–2014, and a follow-up in 2023.
