This procedure describes the operation of the Alberta Environment (AENV) EDAS
Ambient polling and data collection system. This system is a PC based software system
that polls data from the AENV stations described below. The system is the central site
for data collection of all the AENV NAPS stations. Once data has been collected via the
steps described in this procedure, the system is used to facilitate other data tasks like;
data processing, transfer of data files to the R: drive, create and FTP the AQI files to
CASA for the AENV AQI website, and collect data for the voice AQI System.
