REPS Dissolved Oxygen Logs Experiment

Establishing the net productivity of systems is accomplished through quantifying and comparing photosynthetic and respirometric processes. System samples, using light and dark formats, measured the net primary productivity of sample sites along the tributary by establishing productivity and respiration separately. The sample's productivity metrics are represented by dissolved oxygen and accompanied by dissolved oxygen logs of the sites, measured every 30 minutes over a month-long period during the open water season of 2013 (July, August, September) Sample sites are on a gradient moving closer in proximity to industry to delineate effects of natural and anthropogenic contaminants.
