Usage Considerations or Constraints Data represents fish communities sampled using a boat-electrofisher. Each site is 2 km in length representing approximately 30 minutes of electrofishing time along the shores of the Athabasca River. Sites may constitute multiple habitat (water depth, water velocity, substrate) types adding to possible variability among sites. Other potential factors contributing to variability include water temperature, water conductivity, and turbidity (visibility). Data represents a single point in time and is not representative of intra-annual variability (i.e seasonal variability in community composition).
